Do I need my own Stripe account?

Yes. Payments go to your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect. If you don't have one, you can create it during setup.

Does GraftPal charge a fee on payments?

No. GraftPal doesn't add a fee. Stripe charges its standard processing fees, which depend on your country and the card used.

Which payment methods can clients use?

Cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where the client's device supports them. The methods you have switched on in Stripe are the ones clients see.

What happens when a client pays?

The invoice is marked paid, the payment is recorded in GraftPal, and it shows in your payments and Home figures.

Can I disconnect Stripe?

Yes, from Invoices & Payments → Payment methods. Invoices you send afterwards won't include a Pay now button until you connect again.

Is it included in my plan?

Yes. Online payments are included in every GraftPal plan, including the free trial.

Connect Stripe in 4 steps

Open payment methods
In GraftPal, go to Invoices & Payments → Payment methods.

Connect Stripe
Choose Connect with Stripe. Sign in to your Stripe account, or create one; Stripe will ask for your business and bank details.

Send an invoice
Your next invoice includes a Pay now button automatically. Clients can also pay from the client portal.

Get paid
Payments land in your Stripe balance and pay out to your bank on Stripe's schedule. GraftPal marks the invoice paid for you.
